International Golf Entertainer-Raj Jackson will be performing his Champion Swing Drills golf seminar at the Deadliest Catch Celebrity Golf Tournament at the Suncadia Resort in Roslyn, Washington on August 27,2011. The golf tournament is a benefit for the Seattle Fisherman’s Memorial.
The Champion Swing Drills is a golf seminar that teaches audiences the same golf drills used by past and present champions on the PGA Tour. This golf seminar is an opportunity to learn the secrets of the pros. You will learn the exact golf drills used by champion golfers in a fun, informative and entertainer manner. The Champions Swing Drills is schedule for Saturday, August 27,2011. In addition, on Friday night, Raj Jackson will be performing The Make Par Like A Star golf show at 8pm.
Raj Jackson has enjoyed a career filled with both professional and athletic achievements. He was the golf and tennis captain at Man High School. In college, he earned a Biology Degree from West Virginia University. He continued his education and became a Doctor of Chiropractic by graduating from Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Jackson’s first job was as a resort Chiropractor in Jamaica for Superclubs Resorts. He worked at the luxurious Grand Lido Braco and Grand Lido Negril properties.
In 2003, he decided to change careers from Doctor to Sports Professional. He got certified as a USGTF golf teaching professional at Penn National Golf Club. Raj Jackson became the Head Golf Pro at Woodbridge Golf Club in Kings Mountain, N.C. and Richmond Pines Country Club in Rockingham N.C.
In 2005, Raj Jackson took his talents to the oceans by teaching golf for several major cruise lines, such as Carnival, Holland America, P&O and Celebrity. He traveled to over 50 countries and gave over 15,000 golf lessons. His nickname was “Hollywood” and it was fitting because he was always entertaining a crowd of people. One day on the seas, a famous comedian came to one of his golf clinics. He was so impressed that afterwards, he told Raj that he should pursue a career in entertainment. Raj moved to Las Vegas and started working on his golf show. Raj Jackson teamed up with the creative professionals at the Apple Stores of Las Vegas and produced the Make Par Like A Star Golf Show, Champion Swing Drills Golf Seminar and Upscale Golf TV Show.
In 2011, Raj Jackson was the Host of a new golf TV Show called Upscale Golf on the Legacy TV Network. Upscale Golf was a nationally syndicated TV show seen on cable throughout the United States. Upscale Golf combined Golf Travel, Style Advice, Golf Tips, Product Reviews and Life Lessons. Season One ran from Feb 23- Aug 23,2011 and Season Two debuts in Jan 1, 2012.
Career Highlight: Raj Jackson wins the Walter Payton Celebrity Golf Tournament with playing partner Heisman Trophy winner George Rodgers.
